My journey in activism and community service has been a defining aspect of my life. Last year, I proudly represented the Arts faculty in the Student Association at Tel Aviv University (TAU), where I also served as a member of the funding committee. This year, I have taken on the role of Chairman of The Committee for the Victims of October 7th and the War, while also contributing as a member of The Committee for Accessibility and Equality.
During the challenging times of COVID-19, I joined a local group dedicated to lifting spirits in our community. We produced and filmed children's plays and funny sketches to bring joy and entertainment to our town's residents.
In my professional life, I had the honor of working as a Research Assistant for Dr. David Gurevitz on his book "Kafka's America," published by HaKibutz HaMe'ukhad in 2024. This experience deepened my research skills and my appreciation for literary scholarship.
Talking of scholarships, during my four years of academic studies, I was fortunate to receive several of them, allowing me to give back to the community in meaningful ways. Through the Perach scholarship, I taught science to children, sparking their curiosity and love for learning. For two years, I also tutored freshmen at TAU, helping them navigate academic life through the "Walking Together" program. Additionally, I shared my passion for cinema by lecturing to elderly people as part of the AICEO scholarship.
My contributions were further recognized through scholarships awarded for my service in the IDF as an ex-warrior.
In 2014, right after the Protective Edge Operation, I dedicated half a year to pre-military service in Ashdod, where I served as a guide in a youth movement.
