"The way Nolan intended" is now a phrase. If you want to see The Odyssey, and of course you do, you are supposed to see it on IMAX 70mm theatre. It doesn't matter that there are only 50 theatres like that worldwide…
People started making laughs about Nolan standard- watching the film on tiny screens, outdoors or just projecting the film on objects.
So here is my take!
I got a pirate copy from the local Mexican-Russian torrent website that I like, converted it to a silent GIF (256X144, 10fps, only 256 color-range) and made a WhatsApp-like user interface. In the UI, your friend Alex is sending you the gif and continues yapping, interrupting you from seeing the gif itself. Every new message sent is dragging the UI to show you the message, forcing you to drag back to the place where the gif is.
You can try the little project here:
Tools:
Shutter Encoder – conversion mkv>mp4
Adobe Premiere - conversion mp4>gif
